The following are things that you should do to stay safe around trains:                                                                          
    • Don't drive around lowered gates.                                                                                          
    • If your vehicle stalls, forget it     .                                                                                          
    • At a multiple-track crossing, after the train crosses, always look both ways before crossing.
    • Don't try to beat the train!                                                      
    • You never know when a train will come.                                                                              
    • Use common sense.
